Yesterday Katharine went with me to the doctor, art project in hand and she was a completely great little girl while I had my appointment. Afterwards we went to the bank, and again she was super sweet. The bank was out of lollipops and she told the teller, " it's OK, maybe next time!"
While in the bank, she found a ladybug on the window and held the little guy until we were finished at the bank and it took about 15 minutes for everything! She did however, put the bug in my sandal at one point and also pretended to put it in my shirt which caused me to wiggle even though it wasn't in my shirt, which the teller found very amusing!
When we walked out, I asked Katharine to put the ladybug on the tree; however, she walked over to some bushes and exclaimed, "I am going to put him here momma, because there is another lady bug and they can be friends!" She was so proud of herself and I have to say that my heart smiled at what a thoughtful little girl she has grown into these days.
