Canvas & Cocktails is a blast and each person truly walks away with a distinctive piece of art. We all went in to create a painting and we all came out with individual masterpieces! I was truly amazed at how different each piece was, creative juices were flowing. Several people painted something completely different, others used different color schemes and a one lady painted her piece in about 10 minutes and spent the rest of the time chatting.
I have to admit, that even though I didn't think I had much creative talent with some instruction is was amazing to create something that I might just hang in my house. Katharine was very proud of me this morning and asked, "did you win?". I told her that I did, and by win I mean that I had a fabulous time with great friends, family, successfully created a masterpiece and went to bed with a smile on my face!
