Up in the clouds

This morning was rather foggy, and Robert told me he was working in the clouds. Well, as an adult, I know what this means but Lincoln - not so much!

While driving to gran's this morning I told the kiddos to look at the mountains and how they were covered with clouds / fog. They were both impressed and thought it looked cool. Then I told them "Daddy was working the clouds today!" Panicked, Lincoln asked, "How is he going to get down?" For the rest of the commute I had to explain what I meant and that Daddy was just fine, he was surrounded by clouds. It's funny how as adults we know and understand these sayings, but for kiddos it's so literal.
