On the long road trip back from Utah, out of the blue Katharine asked me if she was really good in school and paid attention, would I buy her an icee everyday? I think icee's were on her brain because I bought the kiddos one before visiting the Great Salt Lake and school is always on her mind because she just cannot wait to go!!
This morning she began talking about school again and asking what grade she would be in when Lincoln started school, I told her 2nd grade. Again, she mentioned icees but this time telling me that she would buy Lincoln an icee if he didn't end up in the Principal's office. I am not sure how she knows about the Principal's office but she knows that you go there when you misbehave. Somehow I think there will be a day when Lincoln doesn't get an icee because I bet he'll end up in the Principal's office. And Katharine will be sure to tell me all about it...
