Last night we enjoyed a Rockies game as a family with good friends - the kiddos weren't even wearing jackets, it was 75 degrees during the day. Toady, we woke up to snow, Robert even has the day off due to the weather conditions.
I went into work early, but Robert shared a story for the books today. He was heading out with the kiddos to go to grandpas and the snow was more like sleet, snow, hail and it was bouncing off the street. Lincoln excitedly exclaimed, "look Daddy it's like POP ROCKS!" Both kids were ecstatic and thrilled. They were also excited because the rain overnight brought out the worms, I am sure they will come home dirty after digging in the mud all day finding worms. Hopefully they will bring them home for our tomato and chili gardens if they survive the cold temps and snow.
