This morning, Lincoln was up first and I told him it rained all night! He of course had to go to the window to verify. Sure enough, still raining and 50 degrees. He immediately went over to the hat / glove bin and put on his Avs hat and one glove (he couldn't find the match). He proceeded to beg me to let him outside...so he could go hunting for worms.
I didn't let him outside because we needed to get ready to go, but I told him he could get ready and hunt worms at Grans. I picked out some clothes to which he scoffed and said, "Momma, I have to wear camo clothes if I am going to hunt worms!"
So I went into the room, picked out a fleece camo outfit and his orange vest. He was pleased, but also wanted to change out his Avs hat for his camo hat.
I dropped Lincoln off about 8:15am and by 8:35 Gran called from her cell because they were already outside hunting worms and I could hear Lincoln's excited screams in the background that he had found a worm!!! Not sure how long they were going to be outside, but I am sure Lincoln found LOTS of worms - camo and all!!!
