Katharine, Lincoln and I were discussing tea parties (today's topic) on the way to daycare this morning. Little Miss Reporter decided to tell me about the time that Lincoln broke a bowl at Gran's house while they were having tea. But Gran told them it was OK, because the bowl may have had a crack in it and then when Lincoln dropped the bowl, it fully cracked. Lincoln piped up and exclaimed, "but it's OK Momma because remember Gran broke on of your wine glasses!"
I relayed the story to my mom and she confirmed that on the day the bowl broke, a few weeks back that Lincoln remembered and told her the same thing. Got love the memories of little ones!
