To keep up the family tradition, we all gathered for a weekend of fun in the Golden area. We started out at the Rock Rest bar (the place B & I met) for drinks and wings. Then we headed to the hotel for some pool time and poker. After the family tournament, which I won (yeah right my brother is a shark!!) the "adults" went to Blackhawk for some table gambling while Gran and G stayed back with all the kiddos. Lucky us. The six of us sat at a blackjack table for a couple of hours and had lots of fun. The roadtrip back to Golden was terrible, huge snow storm that closed the canyon and Robert ended up getting us back safely after 1 1/2 hours. Sunday we had brunch at Simms Landing (the place B took me before he proposed) and then went to Jay & Ally's new house for a visit. It was a fantastic weekend and can't wait for next years adventure.
