Katharine had to miss her buddy Hunter's birthday party so his mom, Lyn and I made special arrangements to go to McDonald's to celebrate again with all the kiddos. Our kids go to daycare together 2 days a week and love playing with each other so much. Lincoln can hardly wait to run around with Hayden. We ate first, well Lincoln and Hayden did. Then we had playtime. When it was time to go, Katharine's shoes and happy meal toy were not in the cubby hole. Lyn and I couldn't believe that someone could actually steal a little girls shoes (her high top tennies from Megan in AZ) and her toy. Lyn went to the front and got Katharine a new barbie doll. I went home and told Robert and he said, "the person that took them must have needed them more than us!" He was right. Off to bed we all went. In the morning we were going somewhere, I grabbed the diaper bag to make sure we had enough of everything and low and behold...there were Katharine's shoes and her barbie doll. She must have put them in there without me knowing, seeing or checking. Needless to say my face was a bit red and Robert and I had a great laugh about it as did Lyn and I the next work day.
