So Robert and I took on the task of taking all the kiddos to the zoo one Saturday afternoon...yes we did...Katharine, Lincoln, Jackson and Julia. We had a blast even though it was really hot. The kids loved the hippos (stinky as they are) and I brought lollipops for all of them and I think that was the real highlight...Lincoln got his toy...poor chap!!
Then we got Quiznos and get to the hat park...didn't stay long!!
We enjoyed the rest of the evening at Westgate (the Kurtz kids old elementary) on the school playground, some of the stuff currently there to play on was there when I was a kid and that was a LONG time ago! The kids had an absolute BLAST and we enjoyed watching them!! Katharine and Jackson really enjoyed throwing pea gravel, because they are no longer allowed to do so at Gran & G's...they got their fill this evening!
